What are your hours?

Urban Putt is open from 4 to 10 pm Tuesday through Thursday; 4 pm to 11 pm Friday; noon to midnight on Saturday; and noon to 10 pm on Sunday. We are closed on Monday.

How much does it cost to play mini-golf?

$11 for nine holes; $20 for 18 holes. $9 and $18 for kids 12 and under; free for kids 4 and under.

Is Urban Putt San Jose related to Urban Putt San Francisco?

There is a strong family connection. Both venues were started by Chief Greenskeeper Steve Fox, with the San Francisco location opening in 2014 and the San Jose spot opening in 2024. Urban Putt San Francisco was sold to Funlab, an Australian company, in June 2023, and closed its doors, for a total makeover as Holey Moley, on December 31, 2023. Urban Putt San Jose is the last remaining Urban Putt.

Do I need a reservation?

Reservations are for dinner only. You can make reservation via Open Table. Mini-golf is first come-first served.

Are kids allowed?

We welcome guests under 21 years of age until 8pm Tuesdays-Sundays (closed Mondays). After 8pm, it’s 21+, but we permit anyone who is already in the building by 8pm to stay on premises.

How do I get here by public transportation?

VTA Light Rail Blue Line  stops right in front of Urban Putt at the Paseo de San Antonio station. The 68 and Rapid 568 buses also stop in front of the venue.

How long does the course take to play?

Urban Putt San Jose has two nine-hole courses. Each takes about 30 minutes to play, longer during busy peak hours. Patrons can play choose to play either nine-hole course or combine the two for an 18-hole experience.

Is Urban Putt handicapped accessible?

Yes, indeed. We meet all the standards required by the Americans with Disabilities Act. Most of the golf course is wheelchair accessible and meets the federal ADA standards stipulated for miniature golf courses.

Do you have a bar and restaurant?

We feature a full restaurant, headed by chef Chad Ferry, serving meals anytime we are open. Our bar program, designed by Monica Macer, sports a slate of local beers, cocktails, and mocktails.

Can I bring drinks on the course?

Since the mini-golf experience is often enhanced by a beverage, we permit drinks on the golf course; we ask that food be enjoyed off the course.

Is there parking near by?

Parking is plentiful, with some street parking on 3rd St and surrounding streets, and many for-pay parking lots within walking distance. Options include:

  1. Second and San Carlos Street Garage at 280 S 2nd St. (first 90 minutes free).
  2. Lot 368 at 8e E San Fernando St.
  3. Impark at 143 S Third St, San Jose, CA 95112
  4. ParkSJ: Third and Santa Clara Garage at 25 S Third St.
  5. Fountain Alley Lot  at 35 S 2nd St.
  6. SP+Parking at 150 S. 2nd St

When are you busy?

Peak hours are typically from 6pm to closing time on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Do you host private events?

Yes, we do: Everything from 15-person after-work parties to company retreats and from birthdays with friends to 300+ person full-venue buyouts. If you’re interested in a private event, fill out the form on our website and our events team will get back to you promptly.

What Do Private Events Include Event?

Most events are three hours long and are situated on the Mezzanine. They come with unlimited mini-golf with priority play on the course for one hour. Food and beverages minimums are required.
