JOB DESCRIPTION
Urban Putt is a one-of-a-kind bar/restaurant/indoor miniature golf course and party venue that opened in Downtown San Jose on February 29, 2024. A spectacular space with a 13,000-sq. ft. footprint, Urban Putt boasts a 40-foot bar, a second bar on the mezzanine, a full kitchen and a custom-built 18-hole miniature golf course that has been described as “Burning Man meets Golfland.” This is a proven concept that has thrived in both locations this team has launched--Urban Putt San Francisco (opened 2014) and Urban Putt Denver (2019). We are seeking creative and enthusiastic bartenders who can execute and drive a memorable guest experience that will delight our Urban Putt San Jose guests.
As a bartender, you will be an integral part of the guest service operation of this one-of-a-kind venue.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION
This is a physically demanding position. You must be comfortable standing, walking, bending, reaching, squatting, and lifting loads up to 40 pounds. Valid ServSafe food safety certificate and alcohol awareness certification (TIPS Training Certificate or RBS certification) required.
PAY $18.00 PER HOUR PLUS GRATUITIES.

JOB DUTIES

Greet guests in a timely manner, respond to their food and beverage needs.

Sell food and beverages items; fulfill guests' orders, removing courses and replenishing beverages.

Possess in-depth menu knowledge in order to present order suggestions to guests.

Perform work duties in a safe and efficient manner. Utilize slip resistant footwear.

Utilize the Toast point of sale system. Prepare checks and collect payments.
-
Be able to balance serving trays when transferring food and beverage orders.
-
Maintain your work area and assist with restaurant tasks and side work.
